Fast and firm here. About 62 degrees, with some strong wind blowing basically from the east, with the horses down the backside, against them in the stretch. The main track is very, very fast.
Heavenly Chorus won for Asmussen coming off the pace in race 1, but races 2 and 3 both looked inside-speedy. In race 2, 30-1 shot Dynamic Time went 21.83 to the quarter-mile, 44.97 to the half, and won by two lengths! Race 3, inside-drawn Payton D'Oro set another sizzling pace, and held on by a head over pressing Ready to Sing, with six furlongs in 1:10. Witholding final judgment on any bias, but no doubt, this track is as fast as any all meet.
