Woodbine: Husbands off
Patrick Husbands is off his two remaining mounts. Gerry Olguin will ride Appeal to Glory in the 5th, and David Clark will pilot Joey's Best in the 7th.

Fort Erie: Golden Moka upsets in POW
10-1 outsider Golden Moka, an unbeaten import from Panama, won the $500K Prince of Wales Stakes on the front end under Anthony Stephen. Mobil Unit was second, and favored Big Red Mike wound up third in the mile and three-sixteenth dirt route, which is the second leg of the Canadian Triple Crown.
Woodbine: La Rocca wins Ontario Matron
5-1 outsider La Rocca set soft fractions and then turned back a stretch bid from favored Simply Splendid to take the $150K Ontario Matron Stakes under Jim McAleney.

Woodbine: Sam-Son one-two in Nijinsky
Sam-Son Farm and trainer Mark Frostad ran one-two in the G2 Nijinsky Stakes, with 7-1 shot Windward Islands and favored Grand Adventure.
Stormy Lord, the 5-2 second choice, notched his first stakes in the $174,800 Toronto Cup, another turf stakes.
