Lone Star: Pair of LS champs for Baffert

Game On Dude, who won this year's Grade 3 Lone Star Derby, and Bonnie Blue Flag, who accounted for the $100,000 Cinemine for 3-year-old fillies here May 31, have been named the respective champion 3-year-old and champion 3-year-old filly of the Lone Star meet. Both horses are trained by Bob Baffert.

Lone Star: Nice 2-year-old flattered in race 2 Hidden Recipe, an 11-length maiden special weight winner over Big Scrape earlier this month at Lone Star Park, was flattered in the second race when Big Scrape came back and took the maiden special weight. It was a seven and a half furlong turf race for 2-year-olds, and Big Scrape paid $39. Alfredo Contreras rode the winner for trainer Lascelles Wisdom. Hidden Recipe, who is owned by Tom Durant and trained by Jack Bruner, is a candidate for a $100,000 division of the Texas Stallion Stakes this fall at Retama Park.

In the $150K Shady Well, 3-5 favorite Roxy Gap prevailed over 17-1 shot Tree Pose. Corey Fraser rode Roxy Gap for trainer Mark Casse.
