Brother Louie, a 22-1 outsider, finished second by 5 1-2 lengths to California Soldier in the one-mile race, and was claimed by Caesar Dominguez. Ministers Power, who finished third, was claimed in a two-way shake by Steve Knapp. Luv Dragon, who finsihed fifth as the 2-1 favorite, was claimed in a two-way shake by Doug O'Neill.
