Woodbine conditions

The very strong wind Saturday, which led to the cancellation of the last three races, have died down, but there's still a fair west wind today. It's also cool and cloudy. The Pick 6 carryover is just under $4,300.

The featured G3 Vigil Stakes contains many of the top sprinters on the grounds, including the last two Canadian champion sprinters, Field Commission and Fatal Bullet.

CD: Mission Impazible 'pazible" for Preakness Another fairly chilly morning here at CD, where T.Pletcher has been on the scene since yesterday to oversee the next few days of training for Derby winner Super Saver before they leave Wed. for Pim in Baltimore. Pletcher mentioned in passing yesterday afternoon in a conference with a handful of reporters that Mission Impazible, 9th in the Derby, is now a "possible" for the Preakness, depending on what's decided in the next day or 2. Pletcher already is running one other horse, Aikenite, against himself in the race next Saturday. The originial plan for Impazible had been to wait for...
