Arlington: Razo to hospital

Eddie Razo was taken off by the track ambulance after going down in a one-horse stretch spill in race 6, and Razo was transported to Northwest Community Hospital complaining of pain in his shoulder/neck/collarbone area. Which, considering what has gone on with jockeys here this meet, actually is not bad news.

Da Mama indeed suffered catastrophic injuries, and had to be euthanized.

Arlington: One-horse spill race 6 That was ugly. Da Mama appeared to break down in mid to upper stretch of featured race 6, a one-mile grass allowance. The instant after she first went bad, it looked like jockey Eddie Razo was going to be able to keep Da Mama on her feet, but another couple strides and down she went in what looked to be something catastrophic (for the horse, that is). That is only a guess, and I will update with condition of jock and horse when I find something out.
